This product works well - I am over 40 and my hair, which used to be in such good shape, has gotten dry and frizzy over the past few years. I tried all kinds of products and so far this one has worked the best. Only don't bother to buy the shampoo and the conditioner because it's overkill. It will make your hair look a little too oily. The conditioner alone is enough. And don't take it down to the roots every time - for the same reason. But it really has done wonders for the look of my hair !

I like this conditioner for days when I don't have 10 or more minutes to leave in the MoroccanOil hydrating mask (which I love). It has the fabulous MoroccanOil smell. It's a good, not too light, not too heavy conditioner.
I have been using the MO line lately--shampoo, conditioner, mask, styling curl cream, argan oil--and I really like how it leaves my hair smelling beautiful and feeling silky.
But I think it's pretty pricey, hence one star off.

I have thick, waist long hair that's a combo of tight curls, loose curls and waves. I wished my hair would make up it's mind and be one kind of curly, but I'd also like to shed 10lbs in my sleep (not gonna happen).
I've tried many curl products and I think this one works the best for me. I use it after I use the oil treatment and finger comb my hair. Then I apply the curl control cream starting from the ends and finger comb some more. Then I slightly scrunch (over scrunching creates frizz). Then I air dry. Do not touch your hair while it dries. My curls have never been so bouncy and springy. I actually see cork screw curls I never knew I had. I've accepted that my hair will never be PERFECT no matter how great the product is. Curly hair is just that way. Some days it's good, some day's it's not. I think once people can accept that your hair pretty much does whatever it wants, they'd be happier with what the product can do. Love your hair and it's many... Read more

This product is great! I used to use the MoroccanOil Intense Curl Cream, but it was too heavy for my hair. The new Curl Control Cream has a great texture. I have long thick but fine hair. This cream gives me great waves.

I have curly hair and I have been at war with it since I can remember. I've actually spent most of my life with boy-short hair because I couldn't manage it. My mother in law tivo-ed a clip about curly hair on the View (I think), and I tried out that method of handling my hair and it worked like magic. (I think it is similar to the curly girl system.) Basically it involves no shampoo etc. You can google it. I use this product, along with the actual morrocan oil, and it is fabulous. Using a round bristle brush on dampish hair I can actually make ringlets by twisting the hair pieces. Who knew!? This stuff doesn't seem too oily and I have a ton of hair and I don't have to use too much. It holds really well and just seems to make the hair curl better. It only took me 30+ years and now I can finally wear my hair down on a regular basis. Worth every penny, I bought some for my sister over the holidays as well.

This review is from: Earthly Earthly Body Marrakesh Oil Hair Styling Elixir (Misc.)
My salon was out of Moroccan Oil so I tried this instead. The pump packaging is MUCH easier to use and though it's a very similar product it seems a bit "lighter". I notice I need to use more to get the same result, but others may not need to use as much as I do and may even prefer this formula. My shoulder-length hair is very dry and without a product like this it really suffers in our hot, windy, dry summers. I like how the Moroccan Oil smells and the Marrakesh Oil also has a pleasant fragrance but some may find it overly sweet. It reminds me a little bit of cotton candy. It smells and works much better than the Frizz-Ease products without making hair greasy or limp.
Even though I use it on wet hair, on dry hair for morning styling and again at night before brushing, this little bottle lasted a very long time. Overall I found this product an acceptable substitute with the same effects (silky, shiny, frizz-free hair) and the Amazon price is 1/3 what I paid.

I have thick, fine, blonde frizzy hair and Marrakesh Oil Hair Styling Elixir really does soften and reduces frizzies, and I love the fragrance. My hairdresser uses this herself and it works very well , but she has thinner, only slightly frizzy hair. I combine the Marrakesh Oil with Sabino Moisture Block, as my hair requires serious frizz control. I try every new product and really like the softening and frizz control, and combine them in my hands to apply as the Sabino is verrry thick and sticky. They both require some adjustment to figure out how much to apply, but the results are the best I have ever had. I wash my hair at night, apply the products and go to bed (NO BLOW DRYING). In the morning my hair is dry, I sometimes add a little extra Sabino to the ends as I section my hair for each roller, spray with Nexxus Heat Protex Heat Protection Styling Spray ( also helps to soften hair better than any other heat protective styling spray), and put it up in jumbo hot rollers.
